catch up!

Mmmm, I like ketchup..
Anyway, just wanted to catch you all up on what's going on in Winterpeg... Actually, winter will soon be over, the weather is beautiful and everything is melting, let's just hope this keeps us..

First things first, grandpa Roger passed away last Tuesday, March 11, and I just wanted to have a little tribute to him as I was really close to him as a grandpa, he was also a great friend, and a humorous one at that. Over the last month and a half or so when he had suffered from two strokes, I have been praying and thinking of him so much and I would always pray that whatever happens that it is God's will. And I believe that grandpa being free of that pain is what God wanted and what any of us would want for him. As sad as the funeral was last week, I was constantly reminded how we can get through anything if we have God in our lives. I just couldn't imagine not goi
ng through something like this without him, without his shoulder to lean and cry on.! I just want to thank God for taking Grandpa home to be with him and grandma R. too, and thanks for keeping him free of pain.. I love you grandpa and I can't wait to see u again someday!

So that was a rough week, but we got through it, and now we ar
e back to our busy lives. Alvaro and I are great, still working at our jobs, and Alvaro is doing so good at his job and seems to love it, I am just so excited about how his positive spirit and attitude is working in those peoples lives that he comes into contact with each day. But besides work, we are looking at a house to buy. A new chapter in our lives and it is tiring, draining, exciting and really makes you trust in God. I just want us to pick the right house and I want us to be able to actually get a house since the market is very crazy right.. We have just been blessed though with a real estate agent from our church, and she relieves a lot of the stress, so thank you...

Another thing is we just found out my little sister Joy is moving, hope this is public Joy, but she's moving away and I will just miss her so much.!. It was always comforting knowing she was
just twenty minutes away, cause as much as we hated each other in high school, I would like to think we are the best of friends now, and I will just miss her dearly. I love you Joy and I am so excited about what God has planned for you, you are an amazing person and I just can't say how proud I am of you for taking this leap of faith.. Miss you already and you're not even leaving till tomorrow.. haha..So, now that I am crying..... ha, besides those few things, Alvaro and I are great, life continues on as normal, just a few bumps and busy days here and there, but God is definitely being good to us! He has blessed us with time off from work this christmas to spend time with Alvaro's family in Mexico, woo hoo, and he has blessed with ALMOST two years of amazing marriage, and the list could go on and on... Take care all and thanks for waiting for this blog and continuing to read.!
